Child Nutrition Act reauthorization
I found this very noble campaign on the Food Inc site promoting the move “Food Inc”.
Help ensure that the reauthorization of the Child Nutrition Act assures healthy food choices in schools by signing this petition.
"We believe that federally funded nutrition programs should provide all children with the healthy food they deserve. This includes low fat and safe dairy, fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grains. Schools should be soda and junk-food-free zones and serve food that complements and furthers parents' efforts to feed their children healthfully."

How can anyone argue with this statement that our children are special and we need to look out for them?
Unfortunately when the words “federally funded” and “healthy food” are in the same sentence, we know that this is impossible. This is kind of like when politicians are talking - if their lips are moving then they are lying.
There is no nutrition in school food programs and responsible parents will never let their children eat at school unless it is in a “brown bag” that they prepared at home.
