A Diseased Economy
President Bush and the powers that be are very proud of our growing economy and the jobs that it providing to our nation. There is a problem, however, that the economy is not creating new business that will help our long term monetary needs as a world leader.
A diseased economy has to do with health. We rank number forty is disease and poor health in the world today and it is not because a lot of people have no insurance. It is because we have a failed agriculture system with no trace minerals and toxic chemicals in food production. It is because we have over 3000 toxic chemicals in the processed food industry. It is because we have a fast food industry that serves mostly toxic chemicals. Because of these reasons we have very sick people that have to go to doctors and hospitals to be cared for which strains the present facilities and requires more infrastructure.
Sixty Five percent of our adult population (over 21 years of age) has a degenerative disease.
If our agriculture and food system could be fixed to provide healthy food, we would not need new medical facilities because disease would drop from sixty five percent down to 20 to 30 percent. Drug companies would have to start helping people instead of killing the population and doctors would need to get real jobs instead of pushing drugs and doing useless surgery (80 % of surgery in the US is unnecessary).
